Blogger vs. Blocker.
Zaid Ibrahim started blogging yesterday at myzaidibrahim.wordpress.com.
In the entry titled: Hulubalang Utama Dato Najib, he challenged the PM to stop talking to different audiences in different languages.
Instead, he said, Najib should articulate his economic reforms in the upcoming Umno special assembly, or in Malay-language newspapers, rather than speaking selectively in the English media.
Oh yes, you must read who the biggest warlord (hulubalang) in Umno is, in Zaid’s eyes.
On the other hand, Information Minister Rais Yatim, whom Najib entrusted to oversee the Internet and telecommunications in Malaysia, is still studying ways to enforce registration of bloggers.
Last month, Zaid publicly challenged Rais to a debate “on any subject, anytime and anywhere”.
Maxis sucks
Meanwhile, Maxis wireless broadband sucks big time today, and so did yesterday. Faulty user authentication process, frequent drop-line, stranded packet, incessant connectivity blackouts, throughput fluctuating between HSDPA and UMTS — all in my Penang residence. That’s the big problem of people who didn’t do it right for broadband.
BY THE WAY… Is Maxis still a brand under T. Anandakrishnan? Tell him, Maxis blocks my blogging experience.
