OCT 14 – No one has answered the million ringgit question yet: is the SMS exchange on the Altantuya murder case between Datuk Seri Najib Razak and a prominent lawyer authentic?
If it is not, then it should be put down as yet another move by critics of the government to discredit the man slated to be the next prime minister of Malaysia; dismissed as another desperate attempt to implicate Najib in the murder of Altantuya Shaariibuu.

I’ve read Rocky’s post ‘In defence of Utusan Malaysia’, some of the many comments to the same, the offending article that appeared in Utusan, Teresa’s statement of claim againt Utusan and the posting in the UMNO Cheras website relating to the ‘Tabung Azan’ initiative launched by UMNO Cheras, announced by Senator Syed Ali Alhabshee and, it would seem, now supported by Rocky.

That Khan’s Datukship given by Malacca Chief Minister Mohd Ali Rustam’s government sinks Malaysia’s royal titles to its lowest depths possible. It’s a shame the Yang diPertua Negeri of Melaka was shipped out to sea along with that dumber state CEO. Maybe Hollywood would do a blockbuster starring Catherine Zeta Jones and Sean Connery again, followed by a glittering Tan Sri award ceremony for “missing” out the first time because “ENTRAPMENT did not have enough trappings, though there are many fans out here, including this writer, who find the actress totalling enthralling. SIEW HOON was seen every day last week at the Sedition Trial of RPK. As this goes to post Siew Hoon is on her flight back to New Zealand. She came into town because she wanted to attend Pete’s trial. Merinne is her eyes during the week of the court-hearing.

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 10 – It is testament to Malaysia’s long drawn-out political instability that even Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s unambiguous pledge to retire in March is being met with scepticism.
This was partly because he used ambiguous words during Wednesday’s press conference when he announced his decision not to contest the party presidency in March, giving way to his deputy Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
