Saya amat terkejut membaca laporan ‘Ayahku pasti bangga’ diceritakan oleh Dr Mahathir Mohamad yang dipaparkan di New Straits Times pada Mac 21.

Dalam rencana itu, Mahathir telah berkata bapanya Mohamad Iskander “… berupa salah satu di kalangan segelintir orang Melayu yang melarikan diri dari rumah untuk bersekolah (Penang Free School).???

Apakah bekas perdana menteri kita sudah nyanyuk sehingga beliau lupa akan nama sebenar bapanya sendiri? Bapa Mahathir ialah lelaki India berasal dari negeri Kerala di India selatan. Nama bapanya ialah Mohamad a/l Kutty.

Remember the petition that was launched on 4th January, 2009?

As at this morning, 3,946 had signed, directing 141 MPs to do the right thing if and when Najib should run to the palace to get his PMship sealed.

Those MPS were given notice this morning. I reduce the same below.

Next post, I will list the MPs notified and suggest what you can still do to try and stop the worst nightmare happening in this country.

Quite frankly, if the ground would open up during an earthquake and swallow the entire PWTC building this week while the UMNO general assembly is in progress, I would be the last person to shed any tears.

In the first place, the UMNO that we have now isnt really the original UMNO of Onn Jaafar, which started the fight for the country’s independence. After its deregistration during the 1988 constitutional crisis, former prime ministers Tunku Abdul Rahman and Hussein Onn didn’t even bother to ‘rejoin’ the new ‘UMNO Baru’ of Mahathir Mohamed, clearly expressing their disgust at what took place. About a year ago, Mahathir himself quit the party, also in disgust, expecting many others to follow suit but nobody of any consequence did.

Sarawak Headhunter will make this as simple as possible so that everyone can understand beyond a doubt how Taib, his family, henchmen and cronies involved in the timber business blatantly cheat (actually steal) and shortchange the state so that they themselves can obtain maximum benefit and profit without having to account for it or pay the royalties and taxes rightfully due to the state and federal governments.

There are a few basic ways to do it, all involving under-declarations or false declarations, with the connivance of the state authorities of course. In Sarawak the state authorities means Taib.

Like most ordinary people, I was initially very confused by all the articles and commentaries on the Perak constitutional crisis. Just like reading an interesting book, I was anxious to know what the ending would be. There is one important difference though. Unlike a book, the ending of this crisis – for better or for worse – will affect my life and the lives of ordinary rakyat of Perak, as well as all Malaysians, given the ramifications that the outcome will have on the constitutional process of political power and governance.
